Gmail now has 1 billion active users
Technology giant, Google, have already been at the top of the well-known internet services. And now, their email service, Gmail, has hit 1 billion active monthly users. Sundar Pichai, the company’s CEO stated this in Google’s 2015 Q4 earnings.
Google already provide billion-user services – such as the Search engine, the Chrome web browser, the Android operating system, Google Maps, Google Play, and even YouTube, which Google acquired in 2006.
Sundar Pichai also announced that Gmail’s automatic responses that can be set up by users consist of 10 percent of all replies via the Gmail mobile app. Now that Google have reached another huge milestone, we’ll just have to see what the future holds for its wide-range of internet services.
