Sony Electronics used to have the VAIO sub-brand for their PC devices, but they were sold out a couple of years ago and left the US market altogether. Now, they are back in the US market again with not one, not two, but three new powerful laptops.

The first model is the new VAIO Z Flip, which has a 13-inch QuadHD touchscreen display that can flip around to be used as a tablet. Powering the device is either an Intel Core i5 or i7 Skylake processor, and either 8GB or 16GB of RAM. The internal battery can last up to 12 hours, as well. The Z Flip will launch in the US February 8th, starting at $1,799.

Next up, is the VAIO Z clamshell, which offers the same design cues from the Z flip, but just in a clamshell model. The specifications are almost the same between the two, but the display is dropped from a QuadHD resolution down to a 1080p panel, and there is no touch screen capability. It will also launch sometime this month for $1,499.

Last but not least is the VAIO S, which is a bit thicker than the other models, but it does include Ethernet and VGA connectivity. It can either have a Core i5 or i7 processor with 8GB of RAM, with either 128GB or 256GB of SSD storage. The display is locked at a 1080p resolution, however. It will launch in March for $1,110.
