Is this the new HTC One M10 (Perfume)?
Well-known leaker Evan Blass (A.K.A. @evleaks on Twitter) is back to his old ways once again and has just leaked an image of what is allegedly HTC’s new 2016 flagship. As can be seen in the image below, it appears to sport a simplistic design that follows the same design language as the One A9, pictured above.
The top and bottom bezels appear to be of roughly the same size as the One A9’s, though the bottom one has been shaved a bit thanks to the omission of the HTC logo from it, but, unfortunately, it appears as though the rumours about the removal of HTC’s signature BoomSound speakers are true. The fingerprint sensor pad is back once again though, but this time it appears to sport a more oval shape than previous ones.
Regarding the top bezel, there appears to be a very large in-ear speaker, though this may double as a front-facing speaker, and an extremely big front-facing camera, which makes sense considering the sensor allegedly features optical image stabilization.
Aside from the bezels though, a volume rocker and a slightly etched power button can be seen on the right side and white antenna lines can be seen on either side of the device towards the top, hinting that the rear may be similar to the One A9’s. Overall, the similarities between this device and the iPhone 6/6S are undeniable, no matter what HTC may say once it’s launched.
Currently, the One M10 is expected to launch sometime in March and will allegedly feature a new 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a new 12MP UltraPixel Camera and the next version of HTC Sense which will launch with the device.
