Instagram testing all-new multiple account feature
There have been multiple reports regarding a new feature of Instagram. They’re now planning to allow users to switch between different accounts. TechCrunch has reported that Instagram has confirmed testing on iOS – and this could possibly mean that there will be an official update soon.
Some users of the app on iOS have the option to add an account, log out of their current account, or even log out of all of the accounts in one go. This is similar to a beta test that Instagram were utilising on Android last year, but there wasn’t any proper confirmation or official announcements.
You may think that this isn’t a big change for Instagram, but to many users – like myself - this would be a very beneficial update. Individuals who operate their personal Instagram account, as well as a business account could potentially have the ability to quickly switch between the accounts which makes business life and social life so much easier.
At the current time, this is just a beta test. But we could possibly be utilising this update later this year.
