Amazon Echo will now consist of a new Uber feature

Already there are so many features and added elements to Amazon’s Echo smart speaker. And now Uber and Amazon have teamed up to spice things up a bit.

You will now be able to call for an Uber trip via the Amazon Echo. In order to do this, you’ll need to have your Amazon Echo’s location set-up via the Alexa app for your mobile device. Thereafter, you’ll need to enter the Skills section of Alexa and then link your Uber account to ensure everything will run fine.

“Alexa, ask Uber to get me a car.” “Alexa, order me an Uber.” “Alexa, how far away is my Uber.” And many other voice commands will allow you to interact with the smart speaker about your Uber booking.

With just a touch of button, booking an Uber was as simple as a walk in the park, but this new feature makes life smarter let alone easy. With this new element of Amazon’s Echo, you can order a car without even using your smartphone. However, it could be a little while before everyone receives this new update.
