Apple launches a new support account on Twitter

Twitter is often the most used social media service for complaining and asking companies for help or assistance. And Apple is putting that to the test as they have launched an official customer service account on Twitter, which provides tips, tricks and customer service regarding their products and services.

Apple isn't the first to do this, as many other companies have been doing the same thing for years now. However, it looks like Apple is directly responding to customer tweets, as well as accepting Direct Messages. Apple is still lacking a large social media presence online, however some Apple executives have Twitter accounts, as well as their App Store, Apple Music, iTunes and Beats 1. To follow Apple's account now on Twitter with the @AppleSupport handle.
