Oculus Rift and 30 games launching in March
It's been a long wait for the Oculus Rift launch. The hardware has been changed and altered and the price rumors have been coming and going, however, the Oculus Rift is finally going to be available on March 28. Not only will it just be the VR headset itself, but it will also be available with 30 games including Eve Valkyrie. By the end of the year, there should be over 100 games released.

“These games take you to the outer reaches of space, mysterious labyrinths of wonder, and fantastic worlds of adventure. And they’re just the beginning. We’re working with thousands of developers on entirely new VR experiences.”, as Oculus stated in a blog post. Oculus has announced the VR home base for Oculus will be called the Oculus Home.
March 28 is only the first date for the first wave of pre-orders. If you order your Oculus Rift today, you could be waiting until July to receive it. There is a bonus gift for pre-ordering, which will be two free games: Eve Valkyrie and Lucky's Tale

The Oculus Rift costs $599 and you'll get the Rift itself with integrated audio, Xbox controller and remote and a motion detector. The Oculus Touch controllers will be available towards the end of the year. The Oculus Rift will only work with PCs and "until Apple makes a good computer" says Palmer Lucky, the Oculus founder.
