LG G5 U.S release date officially announced


The South Korean company has finally announced when the newly released LG G5 will be available in stores. LG announced their flagship smartphone will be available in South Korea on March 31, and it will hit stores a day later in the U.S.

LG confirmed the Korean's launch in a blog post on Friday as well as some pricing for the G5's battery pack and camera Friends modules. A little while later, T-Mobile announced that the G5 will be available on April 1 in the U.S and it will also allow customers to order 3 days before on March 29.

T-Mobile is offering the LG G5 for $0, but with a 24-month contract which will add up to $629.99. They will also be offering free "Friends" modules. Any customer that buys he flagship device before April 17 will get an extra swappable battery. If you place your order before April 5, T-Mobile will also give you LG's 360 CAM which costs $200 for free, but only while stocks last.

Other U.S carriers such as Sprint, AT&T and Verizon havne't revealed any details on when the LG G5 will be available with them, but we can expect it to be around the same time.
