Huawei teases April 6th Press event
Huawei recently was rumored to launch their latest device, the P9 on April 6th. And they have confirmed that they will launch the device on April 6th at a press invite in London.
However, there is no specific mention of the P9, but it does mention the tagline of "change the way you see the world" alongside with the hashtag #OO, which is in-line of earlier reports that the phone would include a dual-camera setup.
That rumored camera would have a pair of 12-megapixel camera sensors that would include lenses made by Leica. What the dual-camera setup would bring to the phone's picture taking ability is yet to be seen, but we have seen things such as picture-refocusing, different angled lenses, and even piecing together ultra-high definition images.
The P9 is expected to include a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Kirin 950 processor that has a Mali-T8000 graphics processor, alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Powering the P9 would be a 3,900mAh battery.
All this and more will most likely be covered on April 6th, so mark your calendars and stay tuned to TechDependent for more coverage on Huawei's new P9.
