iPhone 7 case leaks, in-line with recent rumors
If Apple keeps's up with their release schedule, they'll release the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus sometime around September. While that may sound like a while away still, case makers are already starting to prepare for the upcoming phones, and some of those cases have leaked early, including this one that was just leaked earlier last week.
The leaked images come from Steve Hemmerstoffer and picked up from @OnLeaks on Twitter. Given the first impression, the case closely stay's true to the iPhone 6S design form, but there are some differences. First, the cutout seems larger for the Lightning connector, which would make way for the all-in-one port for charging and for listening to music via headphones. Because of that, the headphone connector has been lost at the bottom as well, supposedly making way for a dual-speaker system.
Additionally, there have ben reports of the iPhone 7 including a dual-lens camera system, which would be in part to LinX Imaging, in which Apple acquired last year. However, upon closer inspection and also according to a recent rumor, the iPhone 7 Plus will have the dual-lens system while the iPhone 7 would have a larger sensor alongside the dual-tone flash. Although, the technology in the dual-lens system and the bigger sensor could lead to DSLR-quality like images and other major advantages for the phone's camera.
In years past, early case leaks are fairly good indicators of what new Apple products will look like when they're officially announced.
