Ring doorbell gets a new facelift with improved features

The Internet-of-Things (IoT) is becoming more and more popular lately. And to stay ahead of the curve, smart doorbell maker Ring just updated their Video Doorbell that features a new design and some new features, as well.

The Video Doorbell Pro is their updated version of the original Video Doorbell, and as the name suggests, it has some new features that give it the edge over the original. However, the product's intention is the same. The doorbell connects to your Wi-Fi, and when someone rings it, you can answer it from your phone via a video call. Now, the Pro version still offers the same Night Vision mode that was found on the first one, but it now has the option of saving videos to the cloud. However, there is either a $3 a month or $30 fee involved if you'd like that option.

The new version has a slimmed down design than the last model, and it also has a higher-resolution camera (1080p instead of 720p) also, the new model comes with new motion-detection zones, which allows the user to draw (via the mobile app) where the camera should focus its attention the most.
