Microsoft Translator on iOS can now translate offline

Quite recently Microsoft released its own translator app for the Android and iOS platforms which people considered a sort of competitor to Google Translate. The Microsoft Translator app allows you to translate via voice or text into many different languages and can be paired with a smart watch for seamless translation across devices. It seems Microsoft beat Google this time in one feature by introducing offline translation in its app for iOS. The feature which has been present on Android devices since February has now come to iOS with the newest update.

Users have to download language libraries of course in order for the translation feature to work offline. It currently supports more than 40 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean according to the changelog on the App Store. This is not the only improvement coming with the version 2.13 update; users can directly translate text in the Safari browser via an extension. What do you think of the new Translator update?
