360-degree video is becoming a huge trend in the technology world. Although this technology has been available for a few years, it's really taking off now, especially on YouTube.

You can not only live stream but only use "spatial audio" which gives you more of the 360-degree feel. Now with live streaming and this new audio feature, a lot of new doors are being opened and we can expect to see 360-degree video more and more in the future with better and better quality.

All kinds of different events can now be streamed live, for example, today is "Marathon Monday" in Boston. It would've made the experience a lot more interesting to someone like myself who watched from their TV at home if one of the runners was live streaming the race from a 360-degree camera. This is only a single example, and I believe there are endless.

Do you think 360-degree video is going to take off even more than it already has? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
