HTC has been making its voice heard in the smartphone market lately. The company recently announced the HTC 10 and along with it, a free 1 year Uh Oh Protection warranty. Other smartphone companies have their own warranties and protection plans; Apple with Apple Care™, Samsung with Protection Plus℠ and Motorola with the Droid Turbo Screen Assurance. What probably makes HTC stand out is there is no additional fee for most repairs, be it screen damage or water damage. Of course, this warranty applies to only devices bought directly from HTC.
HTC customers have yet another pleasant surprise to look forward to; people who never made use of their Uh Oh Protection Plan after buying devices in the HTC One series get a $100 discount towards their next purchase from HTC according to their webpage. Upon the HTC 10’s release, customers can get a 100 dollar discount on the HTC 10, bringing the price down to about $499. This is definitely going to bring a smile to the faces of those who never got to use their Uh Oh Protection and are willing to upgrade to the HTC 10.
