Outlook finally arrives on Android Wear
Almost every internet user would agree that when it comes to email, there’s two giants battling it out, Gmail from Google and Outlook from Microsoft. As per the competition, both companies have been striving to bring their services to many platforms.
For seamless integration, Outlook has an app for the Android and iOS platforms allowing users to use the mail service on their devices. Thanks to the folks over at Microsoft, Outlook now has Android wear support; this comes about eight months after the Apple watch got its Outlook app. Nevertheless, the update brings some nice features to the Android ‘wearer’.
The new update means that users can now get notified of new mail right on their smartwatches, reply by voice command or by pre-formulated quick replies. Android wear owners can hit the Play Store to update the Outlook app to version 2.0.57 for this awesome new feature.
