Apple updates the Macbook with a new color, faster specs

It has been a year since Apple has released their innovative Macbook to the masses, and now Apple has recently refreshed the laptop with faster processor options, longer battery life, and the rose gold color option, to keep the color scheme in line with their other models.

Apple upgraded the Macbook's processors to the sixth-generation Intel Core M, which has a range of 1.1GHz to 1.3GHZ, depending on the configuration. Apple has also upgraded the RAM inside from a 1600Mz module to an 1866MHz module. Additionally, the integrated graphics also got a spec bump to the more powerful 515 module that offers 25% better performance.

Not only did Apple upgrade the overall specifications but they also have updated the battery to last up to 10 hours while browsing the internet and 11 hours of continuous movie playback, which is an hour improvement over the previous model.

If you are interested in checking out the updated Macbook for yourself, it is available right now in both online stores and retail stores starting at $1,299 for the 1.1GHz model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The higher-spec model with a 1.2GHz processor with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost $1,599. The fastest processor, which is a 1.3GHz processor, is only available in build-to-order machines.
