GPS technology giant Garmin has released a great device for golfers. The Approach X40 is a fitness band for golfers with so many great features. For regular golfers, this device promises to be everything they would possibly need to track their golfing activities. First of all the X40 comes with inbuilt heart rate and activity tracking, phone notifications and alerts as expected from most modern fitness bands.

What probably makes the X40 stand out is its features specially designed for modern golfers. The band has data from over 40,000 golf courses, giving distances for all hole locations. The new Auto Shot feature allows users to do a shot-by-shot analysis after playing while the Garmin Connect online community app allows the golfer to replay and share each shot. With the Garmin X40, you can also track scores and view layouts of the green.
