Nintendo will be releasing a new NX games console
Just today, the world's largest video game company has announced that a new NX video-games console will be introduced worldwide in March 2017. Nintendo stated this new aspect of the gaming giant's future, as well as its latest annual financial results. Below, the company's official Twitter page for Europe also teased us all.
You might be surprised with the way that Nintendo has announced the significantly new NX platform, but it is actually a normal method of operation for Nintendo. It's pretty evident if we go back in time to when Nintendo announced the 3DS and Wii U gaming platforms but only told shareholders and the excited public to stay tuned until the E3 event for additional details.
Now, if we concentrate on the rumours of the Nintendo NX, it is said to be based on an Android operating system. Not only this, the console will consist of "free-form" displays which will be provided by Sharp, as well as allegedly having the feature to be of a hybrid platform where the console can be both handheld and home console.
No specific details have been confirmed or dismissed by Nintendo today, but who knows? We may or may not receive any further info and teasers from the gaming giant.
