NY Times is keeping news and VR fresh

We have all seen Virtual Reality whether it's in person, while watching a video, or just seeing it on the news. This new technology is becoming more and more popular.

If you have been a long time NY Times digital subscriber, you're in luck. The newspaper giant sent out cardboard VR kits to all of its long time digital subscribers, they did this to promote their new film, "Seeking Pluto's Frigid Heart."

This film will be available to these subscribers on May 19th, but only those subscribers will have access to adventure around the dwarf planet of Pluto. Non-subscribers will need to wait a little longer until a formatted 360 degree version of the film is released

If you're one of the lucky 300,000 long time digital subscribers, you should feel lucky! Tell us what you think of the new steps NY Times is taking to keep their 165 year old paper fresh.
