After the huge success of the Galaxy S7, Samsung is planning on releasing the successor to the Galaxy Note 5 soon. The Galaxy Note 6 is rumoured to feature an iris scanner, dust and water resistant features. It was quite a surprise that the Samsung Galaxy S7 came with a micro USB port since most new devices come with USB type-C ports now. The implementation of USB-C has its benefits but the use of USB 3.1 proves to add a lot more like super-fast charge delivery.

It seems Sammy might just implement the USB-C technology in the upcoming Note 6. Rumours from Sammobile can confirm the adding of a USB-C port to the Note 6, replacing the traditional micro USB port. As we know, the Samsung Gear VR connects to the micro USB port of the S7 for virtual reality experience. The use of USB-C on the Note 6 could mean a new Samsung VR or perhaps a new way of connecting the VR to the new device. Rumours seem to be coming in so stay tuned for more and remember to leave a comment or connect with us on any of our social media sites.
