WWDC 2016 will bring an updated Apple Music
As Apple's latest "one more thing" approaches its one year anniversary, it seems only natural an update will be happening. According to sources, this looks like a big one.
This new update is supposed to be announced at Apple's annual World Wide Developers Conference, this usually happens in June and is where Apple unveils its new software for the year. This whole event will be covered here at TD when it happens.
The updated version is said to include a brand new design, "Part of the revamp is ditching color in favor of a black and white scheme that focuses on larger album artwork." This is what 9to5mac's Mark Guman said which comes to me as a surprise, but we need to remember that Apple always acts differently. It still seems hard to imagine an all black and white design except for some album covers.
Apple's lead designer Jony Ive, (who lead the Apple Watch to where it is today and many other products Apple has created) Is suppose to be designing this new update. This new push could bring Apple up from its apparent slump, and could also put Apple Music ahead of competing streaming services like Spotify.
Apple music was credited with 10 million subscribers within the first six months, and it seems like they are trying to keep this up with this new update. According to 9to5mac, the "For You" and "New" section will be receiving lots of changes. There is also supposed to be better lyric integration with this new update, exactly what that means? We will find out
