Viv brings competition to all the AIs

Viv is described on their website as ‘a global platform that enables developers to plug into and create an intelligent, conversational interface to anything. It is the simplest way for the world to interact with devices, services and things everywhere.’ Viv might just be the competitor to Siri, Google Now, and Alexa. The team that created Siri is now working on their own personal voice assistant that is specifically designed to handle tasks fully.

Where Viv might get the edge over all the others is its ability to engage in what seems like natural flowing conversations while learning at the same time. So far the software has been used to order pizza successfully. Yes the AI was able to place a call to order pizza for its developers in a demonstration. The new product is not available yet but hopefully, would surface soon enough since it has already been accepted by more than 50 services willing to integrate with it. Could this mean competition for Google, Amazon and Apple? Leave a comment.
