With many car companies pushing electric cars, it's only necessary they are pushing electrical batteries, but these are to charge your homes. Companies like Tesla and Mercedes either already have these or are working quickly to create them.

Most residential batteries work the same. If you have ever seen commercials advertising "Get your silver now! Soon it will be worth hundreds." Or something like that, that is what these batteries do. When the electrical energy is not in demand or not expensive your battery will charge up and store lots of it, so when the energy is expensive, you will be ready.
Right now, Nissan's battery is strictly available in the Europe for around 4,560 US Dollars. According to The Verge, "Nissan reportedly has no immediate plans to bring it to the US." When you pay $4,560, this includes installation. Although Tesla's residential battery pack comes in at $3,000 this doesn't include installation. Nissan's battery has a capacity of 4.2 kWh.
The market for home battery power is definitely growing, but will it die off? These batteries aren't powerful enough yet, and come at a cost! We will be sure to keep you updated on topics similar to this and make sure to check more for more of the latest tech news here at TechDependent.
