It’s almost fair to say Samsung is one of the biggest technology firms in today’s age. They have brought their fair share of new things to the world and continue to design much more. Now despite the strong patent lawsuits against them, Samsung has managed to stay afloat, making new devices with new ideas and also making new patents themselves. The rise of smartwatches has brought with it a whole field of technology and inventions in the wearables field. Samsung has released the Gear smartwatches and Charm fitness trackers onto the market.

This time around Samy has patented a wearable device that can project its interface onto any available surface including the hand and it would probably allow manipulation of the interface on the projected surface. This is an innovative idea that could change the future of wearable tech; many would liken it to one similar to those shown in futuristic sci-fi movies. There’s no guarantee though if Samsung is actually going to turn this into a full featured device but we still hope for the best. What do you think of the new patent? Leave a comment.
