One Plus giving out free VRs for its launch

Virtual reality seems to be the norm lately with the recent Google I/O Daydream VR announcements and several companies such as HTC, Facebook, and Samsung that have jumped onto the VR train. Smartphone maker One Plus has set the launch of its One Plus 3 smartphone for the beginning of June 2016 with no definite date announced. As leaks and rumours have suggested, the One Plus 3 would come with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 820, 64GB of storage, a 16MP rear camera and fortunately enough NFC capabilities. One Plus plans on launching its new flagship in style.

Last year the One Plus 2 was unveiled by sending Cardboard sets to people to experience the product launch in VR mode. This year the company is executing the launch in a similar fashion, except this time, the product launch will take place in a special VR space station called the “Loop“ where users would be able to join in using one of the 30,000 One Plus VR sets currently being given out for free. Yes, One Plus partnered with AntVR to give out free VR sets but for some reason, the headsets seem to be only available to US and Indian customers only. You can try the source link below to get one of the VR sets One Plus is giving out for free with the only cost incurred being of course shipping costs.
