Apple is designing a Amazon Echo competitor

Apple is working on a Siri-Speaker, which will apparently act like the Amazon Echo, according to The information Today. Not only this, but apparently Apple is going to open up Siri to third-party developers. A rumour follows that the Siri developer kit could be released during Apples WWDC conference.

Apple has been working on a Siri-Speaker for quite some time now, even before the Amazon Echo was released. The rumours say that the Siri-Speaker will be helpful and will be able to send texts and set alarms even easier.

On top off all these new rumours, Apple will also most likely release Siri for Mac at WWDC. This could be an amazing feature for people that use their mac hands-free, when watching a movie for example.

So it seems that Apple is stepping up their Siri game and is working on improving it. What do you think? Is it a good idea that Apple might release an Echo competitor? Let us know in the comments and connect with us on social media! Source: |The Verge| -
