PayPal is getting rid of their app on Amazon fire, BlackBerry and Windows Phone.
Today Paypal revealed that they will be getting rid of their own apps from Windows Phone, BlackBerry and Amazon fire devices. Supposedly around June 30th. This is most probably because Windows Phones market share has dropped below 1% and BlackBerry's and Amazon Fire's is even lower.
This means that there arent enough people using the PayPal app and it is too expensive to maintain. The money and resources used on Windows, BlackBerry's and
native apps could be used and spent better to create improved customer experience.
Nothing else is going to change on Android or IOS devices, and Windows Phone users can still send money via your Outlook inbox and BlackBerry users can send money via BBM after the native apps are gone.
