ZTE and BMW Designworks team up for the new Axon 7

BMW's Designworks division is well-known for creating revolutionary products for the past 40 years. An example of the interesting technology that have been picked up as ideas by the design company, is the augmented reality goggles for the MINI car manufacturer. They've also had great partnerships with companies like Thermaltake, and this time BMW Designworks is now collaborating with the Chinese tech giant ZTE.

The project that they are reportedly working on is the ZTE Axon 7. The image above could indicate that the smartphone will boast dual front speakers on the top and bottom of it's body. What's more is that there could potentially be a fingerprint sensor on the rear which will be great for simple but effective use.

Focusing on the specs, the device could also possibly consist of a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 20MP camera, 8MP front camera, 3140mAh battery, all running straight on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

ZTE's intention with this new smartphone is to properly establish its business position in the US, so could this move do the trick? The phone is expected to be introduced later today.
