Acer’s new Skylake powered laptops revealed

Computer manufacturer Acer is revealing a few new gadgets at Computex this year. The Acer Switch V10, the Aspire Switch One 10, and the TravelMate P2 series are scheduled for release at Computex this year. As expected, they will all run Windows 10 out of the box with a price range between $199 and $599. Intel has released a range of processors with different performance limits and this seems to drive the progress of the personal computer markets every now and then. Perhaps the most exciting news from Acer at Computex would be two new high-performance laptops that Acer plans to unveil.

The laptops are powered by Intel’s new Skylake processors. The new processors allow for almost 40% better graphics performance than existing high-performance processors; this also allows for thinner laptops to have high-performance graphics and CPU performance. The chip also supports new features such as voice-enabled wake-up and face detection for unlocking PCs. The two laptops to be released by Acer will feature fingerprint sensors for added security. It supports a maximum of 32GB of RAM and comes with NVIDIA’s GeForce 940M built in. unfortunately, it seems these models would be the costlier ones, maybe around $599. Acer is also likely to show some projectors and 4K monitors at the event. Leave a comment below.
