OnePlus 3 is invite-free forever
With the release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the LG G5, there’s been a bigger interest than ever before in the smartphone market. Many are anticipating as to what the next potential IPhone 7 has to offer and there are tonnes of rumours about it… but have you forgotten about OnePlus?
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer which came in strong to the smartphone market with the OnePlus One, even better with the OnePlus Two and even more budget-friendly with the OnePlus X, is now reportedly about to release their next flagship named the OnePlus 3 (NFC is reportedly making a comeback!) on June 14 at 12:30PM EDT (9:30AM PDT).
OnePlus introduced an “invite-system” when purchasing their smartphones. To purchase one, you had to appeal/receive or externally purchase an invite and then pay separate for the device. Ridiculous right? Well worry no more… The OnePlus 3 is confirmed to be launched invite free like other normal flagships!
However, when Samsung unveiled their marvellous, water-resistant S7 it was no ordinary conference. Virtual Reality is cropping up everywhere and whilst there is still room for improvement Samsung came in strong with the Gear VR – made with Oculus Rift. They also unveiled a 360° camera named “Gear 360” in which they made the audience don their VR Headsets (located below their seats) and the seated conference saw a video explaining how the Gear VR and Gear 360 could be used.
OnePlus is rumoured to be doing the same sort of thing however you get to watch the unveiling of the new phone in their very own VR Headset and with regards to the purchase of the OnePlus 3 you are expected to buy the handset virtually.
The big day is in two weeks’ time and OnePlus is rumoured to be launching their very own VR Headset as well! If you are thinking about purchasing this phone, then you’ll want to know what it packs. Apparently it is to be packing a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM (depending on the storage capacity of your model), 64GB of storage space, a 5.5-inch Full HD OLED screen, a 3,000 mAh battery, and a 16MP camera.
