Apple intros 2016 Back to School promotion

For most students in the UK, the US and elsewhere, school probably hasn't finished yet. But that hasn't stopped Apple from introducing their back to school promotion for the next school session. And for students in the US and Canada, Apple is offering a free pair of Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones to qualifying students, parents of students, educators and select others that purchase a selected Mac with education pricing. Those macs could be the iMac, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and the Mac Pro. The Mac Mini and refurbished Macs are excluded from the back to school deal, however.

The promotion also includes devices other than Mac products, as the eligible people can also receive a free pair of PowerBeats2 wireless headphones with the eligible purchase of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the 9.7 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. If users want to upgrade to the Beats Solo2 wireless headphones for a discount of $100 in the US, or $110 in Canada.

The Beats Solo2 headphones are available in Black, Blue, Red, White, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Space Gray, Blue Active, Red Active, or Yellow Active for the discount. At checkout, Apple will apply for an instant credit in the amount of $299.95 for the Solo2 in the US while Canada will get a $329.95 discount. As far as the Powerbeats2, they will be offered in Red, Black, Black Sport, White Sport, Red Active, Yellow Active or Blue Active. Apple will again apply for an instant credit of $199.95 in the US, and $2199.95 in Canada.

If you need more information about the eligibility requirements or discounts, Apple has included PDF's for the US, and Canada on its website. The program starts now and ends on September 5th, 2016 at Apple Retail stores as well as the Online store plus their campus stores in the US, Pietro Rico, and Canada. However, Apple has not made the official announcement that the program will be supported in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark and other European countries where the program has been supported in the past.
