Instagram is messing with your feed
Very soon, your Instagram feed will look much different. Many of us love seeing the latest posts at the top right at our finger tips, and then scrolling down from there. Instagram will now be changing the order of your feed. You might be reading this saying, "This happened to me awhile ago. What are these guys talking about?" That's because Instagram already changed some of their user's feeds just as a trial. But, According to Venture Beat , "Instagram is turning on the new feed for everyone."
So, how will your feed be organized? According to Venture Beat, it will be based off of several products such as, timing, your relationship with the user, your profile searches, popularity (what other people like), etc. So the things you do on Instagram is going to be what your feed is based on. At least for me, this raises some privacy concerns. For example the people you share photos with triggers Instagram that you are friendly with them, therefore showing their photos on your feed. Do you want Instagram seeing who you share photos with and DM?
Timing is still going to be a factor to create your feed, which is a relief to a lot of us. No one wants week old photos that they have already seen on the top of their feed.
