iPhone 7 and 7 Plus cases show off design changes
For a while now there have been constant rumours about Apple’s next generation iPhone’s such as the fact that the design reportedly won’t change that much or the possible removal of the headphone jack and the latest news come thanks to a set of leaked iPhone cases.
From what can be seen, not much is different to what we’ve heard up until now, with the images depicting a design similar to that of the current iPhone generation. If anything, these cases simply further confirm many of the details that have been rumoured recently.
As can be seen, the dual camera setup is present on the iPhone 7 Plus with two sensors placed side by side along with a sizeable gap between them. As well as this, the rear microphone and flash are also aligned with the cameras.
Aside from the camera though, the cases also feature cut-outs for the 3-pin Smart Connector that is placed on the rear of the device. As of now, it’s still unclear what the purpose of this connector is but it is possible that the company is preparing the launch of a Smart Battery Case or even a complete line of Smart Accessories. As well as this, the cases are consistent with the headphone jack rumours, with there being no cut-out for it.
While there may be relatively few design changes with this year’s devices, Apple is still planning on a number of internal upgrades, such as the new A10 processor and GPU, as well as 3GB of RAM for the Plus model. As well as this, there are also rumours that the devices may be waterproof.
