iOS users can now upload to Instagram from other apps

Apple first launched sharing extensions within apps on iOS 8, but didn't feature any extension so users could post onto Instagram. This would have made it very easy for frequent Instagram users to upload pictures straight from their camera roll without opening up the Instagram app.

But today, Instagram has been silent and implemented a sharing extension to complement the latest version of its app on iOS. As long as the extension is in effect after you turn it on, any iOS app that supports the sharing method will be able to upload a picture to Instagram without any issue.

So this belated but new feature empowers iOS users to post with ease. Although, Android users have had this sharing extension for quite a while now, it's not a surprise that Instagram are treating iOS users the same. Do you think it will benefit you much?
