Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 name is confirmed

There have been multiple reports and rumours spreading that Samsung will change the name of the upcoming Galaxy Note smartphone. The original rumour was that the plans of the potential “Galaxy Note 6” will be scrapped, and Samsung are working on the “Galaxy Note 7” instead. And thanks to this new leak, the rumour has become reality.

Evan Blass, known for his regular leaks (which are often totally accurate) tweeted below, indicating Samsung's all-new Galaxy Note 7 branding. You might be thinking that this could be fan-made using some sort of software, but considering Evan's past history and the fact that he approved the image, it could all be true.

Another possibility is that the Galaxy Note 7 may or may not come in an "Edge" version. But the smartphone could still feature a dual-curved display similar to that of the Galaxy S7.

Release date? Samsung could potentially launch the smartphone at some point this summer or right before September's IFA event. Do you think the Note 7 will be your type of smartphone? Let us know in the comments below and don't forget to follow any of our social media pages right now!
