This weekend was full of pride festivities across the country for the LGBT community. This year's Pride Day also marked 30 years sense Apple developed their own Pride association, according to Apple Insider.

To celebrate with their own employees, Apple handed out special woven nylon bands to them. These limited edition, not sold in stores bands are colored with the pride rainbow. Any employee who was going to a pride event received one of these bands.

Apple's CEO Tim Cook was marching in the San Francisco parade and participating in the Bay Area Festivals. Cook tweeted this photo showing him, and many others walking with pride flags.

It doesn't look like these bands will be sold in stores, but why not? Apple could set up a charity type fund as they do with their (RED) products for the LGBT community. Maybe we will see something like this in the future.

What do you think of these bands? Will Apple ever sell them? Let us know in the comments below.
