ZTE introduces the bezel-less ZTE Nubia Z11 starting from $375
Following the release of the Z11 Mini and Z11 Max, the ZTE-owned Nubia just unveiled their new high-end Z11 with a beautiful bezel-less design and starting at just $375.
The leaked render from January was only somewhat accurate. It does feature an edge-to-edge display, but instead of the dual camera or curved glass back, it has a very attractive aluminum unibody available in black, gray and silver.
The star of the design is the display which goes across most of the width of the phone with a slightly curved Gorilla Glass 3 display. The screen is a 5.5-inch LCD with 1080p resolution and it covers 81% of the phone's front surface.
The Nubia Z11 comes in two models which have similar design and specs. Both models have the Snapdragon 820 processor (quad-core, 2.15GHz). The standard model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the premium model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and both models include a microSD card slot.
The rear facing camera is 16-megapixels with OIS, phase detection autofocus, and a dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing camera is 8-megapixel with an f2.4 aperture.
The Nubia Z11 features a 3,000mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 and charges via a USB Type-C connector. Other noteworthy features are the fingerprint scanner on the back, Dolby Atmos and SmartPA amplifier audio technology as well as Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The standard (4GB/64GB) model will cost 2,499 yuan ($375) and will be available in gray, gold and silver, whereas the premium (6GB/128GB) model will cost 3,499 ($525) and will only be available in gold. If the Nubia Z11 starts selling internationally, the costs may be higher.
