Google Chrome updated with built-in Cast integration

Google Cast (and Chromecast) have been very successful in the smart television dongle market, and one of the reasons is because Google Cast empowers the user to broadcast their Google Chrome browser tab onto a larger screen wirelessly. However, this is only possible if you have the Chrome browser's extension installed.

Thanks to Google now introducing Chrome version 51, you'll be able to enjoy the Cast option built-in. At the moment, the update is still being delivered so not everyone will have access to the new setting yet. Once you do receive the update, you can find the "Cast" option under settings button, on the top right-hand side of your screen. You can also just right-click on any open tab instead.

You'll now be able to utilise the feature without the extension, so feel free to remove your previous one. A few things that Google outlined is that there won't be any options to tweak aspects such as resolution, quality, and bit-rate. They've decided that the system will optimise the stream based on your network's quality and elements of the content being streamed.
