Samsung will reveal Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition on July 7th
Samsung released a teaser that highlights the Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition. Sammobile had released teasers of this phone about three months ago but the release date was unclear. But Samsung's German Website has put up the slogan "Ge7 Ready" with the date 07.07.2016.
The S7 Edge Olympic Edition is said to be released on the 7th of July. The price is currently unknown but looking at the S7 Edge batman edition, it is currently trending between 1,500USD-3,000USD on eBay, this might be a hint that the Olympic Edition will not be cheap. However, if this phone gets launched on a world wide scale and not like the Batman edition, the price might be more fair to fit peoples' budgets.
The S7 Edge Olympic Edition will have the same specs as the rest of the S7 phones, as far as we know, but the exterior design is clear, it will have a gold trim around the home button and the speaker and on the back you'll notice the blue trim around the camera and a blue Olympic logo, the phone itself is all black. There is always a possibility of Samsung adding an Olympic theme and wallpaper to the phone.
Samsung has been pushing sells on their VR gear a lot, they even gave it away for free with the purchase of any S7 phone. The S7 edge Batman edition had its own Batman VR gear which mean we might see the same thing with S7 Olympic version VR.
