Meet the smartphone that doubles as a gaming console

An upcoming device named the PGS promises to be a smartphone and more. The Portable Gaming System PGS claims to be a gaming device that allows connecting the smartphone to a keyboard, mouse and probably a monitor. This reminds us of the Sony Xperia Play back then but with better specs. The device connects to Windows as an external display so there seems to be no issue with compatibility here. The Kickstarter campaign claims you can play games such as Batman Arkham city, Dark Souls 2 and other native PC games without any complications.

The device comes in two flavours, a lite version with 5.5-inch IPS display, 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage all powered by a large 4080 mAh battery. The Hardcore version would be the bumped up version of the Lite with a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, an Intel Atom X7 quad-core CPU, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, along with 6,120 mAh of battery juice to spare. Both devices dual boot Windows 10 and Android 6 where Windows would primarily be the gaming device and Android would be for phone features. Hopefully, though, the developer might include these features across all operating systems. What do you think? Leave a comment.
