As some of you may remember, Back in May of this year, Nokia started securing a number of deals with other manufactures that would allow it to license its name for use on Android smartphones and tablets.

The companies involved in the deal are Foxconn - the company famous for manufacturing the iPhone among other things - and HMD - a company that is not quite as well known, but one that is filled with former executives from Microsoft's mobile division.

Today though, a new press render has appeared which allegedly shows a new Android powered smartphone known as the Nokia P1. The device has allegedly been jointly developed by engineers at InFocus and Sharp, which, as you may recall, was purchased by Foxconn earlier this year. From what can be seen in the image, it appears Nokia will be bringing back the bright colours it became known for with its Lumia line of devices, with the rendered device being offered in Blue and Salmon Pink. Aside from the looks and colours though, we don't have any information regarding specs or even a possible Announcement date.

One thing we do know though is that Nokia’s deal with Microsoft means that it can't release any phones until Q3 2016, which actually happens to be the current quarter.

What do you think of Nokia's possible new smartphone? Let us know in the comments below. Via: | Worket | - Source & Image
