BLU has just announced a new smartphone, the Energy XL. The name suits the device perfectly as it sports a huge 5,000mAh battery, which supports a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, a MediaTek octa-core processor, and 3GB of RAM.
The phone also features a 13-megapixel rear facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 64GB of internal storage. With the very affordable price tag of just $300, you might not expect to find a fingerprint reader built into it.
However, there is one drawback on this device. The capacitive buttons are the problem. As you can see from the image above, the 'back' button is on the right side, represented by an arrow facing the left. The back button on stock Android uses the same symbol, but it is on the left side. This design of the buttons can really be annoying for some users as it does not make any sense.
Here are is a full list of the specifications of the BLU Energy XL:
6-inch Full HD AMOLED display
13MP rear-facing camera
5MP front-facing camera
5,000mAh battery
Fingerprint Reader
64GB internal storage
3GB of RAM
MicroSD slot
1.3GHz MediaTek 6753 processor
4G LTE connectivity – GSM unlocked
