Samsung introduces Galaxy J2 with Smartglow and the J Max

Samsung released two new phones in India on June 8th, the first phone is the Galaxy J2 and the Galaxy J max.

Wondering why it is called J Max? Because this is not a phone, this is a 7inch phablet.

The J Max comes with a 4000mAh, which is equivalent to the Galaxy S7 Active. The phone comes with a Bluetooth headset included and a one-year premium subscription to the Viu streaming service. Without the bluetooth device, the user would have to hold a 7inch phablet to their ear, so this might actually be the best accessory for the J Max. This phone does have some down side to it, it runs on an older android software, Lollipop 5.1. and it does not come with an AMOLED display, instead it uses WXGA display. The front camera is is only 2MP while the back has an 8MP camera. The phone also supports dual SIM slot. The specs of this phone might be pretty low but so is the price, this phone will be released near end of July and cost around 200USD, according to Android Authority.

The Galaxy J2 will be released on July 14th. This Galaxy phone will come with a 5inch AMOLED display running Marshmallow Android. This phone will have a better selfie camera of 5MP while the back is still an 8MP like the J Max. The battery will be much smaller, with a 2,600mAh. The unique feature on this device is the Smartglow which was rumored to come out earlier this month. The Smartglow is simply the ring around the back camera that glows different colors for various reasons. The colors can be fully customized by the user. The Smartglow can help notify the user of any notification they receive, help with selfies and to notify the user when the battery is low. The J2 will be an affordable phone as well costing only 145USD.

The J2 comes with an 8GB internal storage while the J Max comes with 16GB. But both phones support expandable memory. Both of these phones are going to be available for Indian only.
