ISIS is losing lots of popularity on Twitter
The extremist group has been trying to grow its popularity on several social media platforms, including Twitter. Engadget reports that ISIS's Twitter traffic has dropped "45 percent in the last 2 years."
Our thanks can go to the government for this, they have stayed on top of it. Anything posted regarding supporting ISIS is immediately attempted to be taken offline and the government contacts the sender of the post. The government has reportedly gotten better at countering these messages and dealing with them much sooner.
Engadget reports that the ratio of tweets regarding anti-ISIS content to pro-ISIS content is 6 to 1, which is impressive. All in all it appears Twitter has become a place for people to fight rather then support the group.
