Google's Project Fi Is Giving Us A Better Mobile Network Solution

Google Fi is a mobile network similar to AT&T or Verizon. They rolled out Project Fi in 2015. It starts at only 20$ a month.

Google is bringing Project Fi to more people. They are planning on rolling out a feature which allows the use of Project Fi when visiting more countries, this allows people to use Fi in over 135 countries. Google is also removing the speed cap they had before.

Google is allowing customers to make WiFi calls/texts, and when you leave the area of the wireless network you are easily moved over to your cellular network.

The most important thing is that it allows customers to move between providers, picking the best signal.

T-Mobile, Sprint and now US Cellular are all apart of the project Fi. Google is only charging you for only their service, so you don't have to pay every provider you use network from. They are only charging you a flat 10$ per every gigabyte you use.

The only problem is that Project Fi is only available for the Nexus devices in the US and they have no plans to expand it to other devices.
