Nintendo will be launching mini NES + 30 built-in games

Japanese electronic giant Nintendo has announced today that it will soon be introducing the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition. Yes, it's identical to the original NES console, but this time it is a lot smaller, and even comes with a range of 30 pre-installed games.

All you need to get started is an HDMI cable so you can connect it to your TV. The NES is complemented with a controller that is designed to work, look, and feel just like the classic NES gamepad. The company decided to modernise things a little by empowering this new controller to connect to a Wii Remote - this means that you will be able to use it for Virtual Console games on either a Nintendo Wii or Wii U.

Not only does this new device support HDMI connectivity, and not need any cartridges, it also makes life easier by providing multiple suspend points, so that players will not need to hassle with passwords when starting to play a game again. Nintendo's NES Classic Edition will hit stores on the 11th of November with a price tag of $59.99.

These are the 30 games that you'll be able to play:
