Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm. It was originally released in Australia, New Zealand, and the US, but is now arriving to other countries; much to everyone’s delight. It is an app where the user travels/walks around catching Pokémon, levelling up, conquering gyms and collecting goodies to help in their quest! However, it lacks one thing which is the ability to communicate, and the gaming hardware company known as Razer, may just have the solution!
Razer are launching an app where uses are able to chat. It is available for both IOS and Android users roughly around the 25th of July. The app enables players to talk within a range of 3-600 miles and comes with a feature called “Beacons” where it opens a chat room for nearby players to communicate in.
They're making a bit of a gamble with RazerGo as they already have their own software but big games like Hearthstone have dropped their chat systems because it welcomes spam, trash-talking and harsher things. Pokémon Go is a friendly app, but that could possibly change with RazerGo.
For our readers in San Francisco you’re in luck! Razer are hosting “Pokécrawls”, where they drop lures for wild Pokémon. The locations will be posted on their social media accounts so be on the lookout! It’s time to grow your team and catch ‘em all!
