The new IOS 10 beta 3  tells you if there is water in your lightning connector

We have all had a phone that broke before, whether the screen got cracked or you drop it in the toilet, phones break. But now Apple might have released something in their new IOS 10 beta, that can make sure you don't break your phone due to water damage in your lightning port.

The new IOS 10 beta 3 warns you when your lightning connector is wet. This could potentially save hundreds of people from breaking their phone in that way. It seems that Apple has only just activated this sensor and the new feature is only available on the newest handsets.

What this tells me is that Apple is working towards a waterproof device. We have seen many improvements in Apple's phones that potentially the next iPhone 7 could be waterproof. The iPhone 7 will probably lose the headphone jack, and this means there is one less place for water to get into the phone.

This is really interesting to see and I hope that the iPhone 7 will be IP68 waterproof, but what do you think? Should the iPhone 7 be waterproof? Do you think this new feature is useful? Let us know in the comments down below and connect with us on social media.
