Verizon acquiring Yahoo in the "next few days"
According to Bloomberg, Verizon is apparently going to acquire Yahoo in the "next few days". The report comes after months of bidding from several different companies including Google, AT&T, Time, Microsoft, Comcast and a few other private firms.
Yahoo has been putting its business up for sale to potential companies as revenue has dropped over the last few years, mostly due to their inability to compete against highly competitive online ad businesses such as Google.
Bloomberg says that the deal might "still fall apart" and all discussions remain private.
