Bob Mansfield, A long time dedicated hardware engineer, is coming out of retirement. Although you may not consider Mansfield a household name, he has helped the company lots. According to TechnoBuffalo, he helped the tech giant announce the "MacBook Air, iMac and the iPad".
When he "retired" he didn't completely, he only went down to an advisory role. He must've gotten tired of advising, because he is now leading one of the companies most "hyped-up ideas", which by the way, isn't even confirmed as real.
The project was originally rumored to be released in 2020, but a recent report from TechnoBuffalo says its now been pushed back to 2021. Hopefully Mansfield will keep the project in the right lane, and we will see the rumored car sooner than later.
It's looking more and more like the Apple Car may come to life some day. Do you want one? Tweet us @TechDependent telling us one feature you think is a must for this car.
